Information on the processing of personal data

Your personal data provided under the registration to the Eurodendro 2020 Conference are controlled by the University of Latvia, VAT no. 90000076669, registered office: Raina boulverad 19, Riga, Latvia, LV-1586.

Processing of the personal data provided by you is necessary for the preparation and organization of the mentioned even, to contact and inform you about event and for the publicity matters (as well as statistic data for book of abstracts).

The legal basis for the personal data processing is Article 6, 1 b) and f) of GDPR, since their processing is necessary for the fulfilling of the contract (in particular organization of your participation at the event) and for the legitimate interests of the controller (e.g. sending of organizational messages, photo documentation of the Conference).In some cases, your personal information may be processed based on Article 6, 1 c) of GDPR, due to their indispensability for the data controller to comply with legal obligations.

Your personal data are going to be processed for a period of 2 years. After this time, your personal information will be deleted. 

With respect to the processing of your personal data, you have a right to access your personal data, modify or erase them, or restrict their processing, comment on their processing, or exercise the right of data portability and other rights under the GDPR.
